8 - 12 weeks per project
10 hours in 2 weeks
This course is designed to help students develop the skills needed for progression to top-ranking universities in the U.K. and abroad. The skills learned can support students’ pursuit of a wide range of creative subjects and open doors to careers in the arts, design, film, craft and architecture.
In the way that only No Frame can, students will be able to learn to practice ‘research purposefully’ skills (the creative process). This is stemmed from the U.K Art education and tutors in art, & related subjects in universities in the U.K, and elsewhere, expect their students to own this skill to bring authentic, exquisite ideas and visual works to their learning environment. However without specialised supporting programme, which most universities are lacked, the creative process can be alienated to international students and struggle to understand how to develop their work. Undoubtedly this is an important key to success, not only developing portfolio and preparing interviews, but also their continuation of education in Universities of their choice.
With 13 years of teaching experience of A-Level and IB art & Design, students benefit from tailored, high quality workshops, rich resources and assessment examples to develop their understanding of the creative process. Students are guided to bring their true interests and valued qualities in their projects. High tutor to student ratio in a supportive learning environment is favourable in this personalised approach.
Students are offered to experience Art studio/classroom in the U.K., deepen contextual understanding, grow analytical skills, debate topics and presentation abilities using art specific keywords. Innovative, broad yet highly intentional artistic experiments with a range of materials and techniques will be exciting and open new possibilities of expression. Furthermore, theses work will be led further discovery to refine and modify to be able to speak each young artist’s own voice effectively with quality.
This is an opportunity to go through a true transformation: to be able to think and work like an artist and discover their authentic artistic nature. Learn how delicate issues are expressed in sophisticated ways in creating personalised body of work and value the diversity with a comprehensive understanding of people and communities beyond their immediate experiences.
